Withdrawal Policy

1. Your EU/UK Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union or United Kingdom, you generally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services without giving a reason. For a service that starts immediately (for example, a free trial that gives you instant access to AI features), the law lets us ask you to expressly consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that doing so may mean you lose the withdrawal right once the service is fully performed. Today, our checkout and trial sign-up flows do not yet present that express waiver; until they do, we will honor a withdrawal request made within 14 days of starting a trial or making a purchase, even for services already partly used, as the safer and more protective default.

2. VLS-PRO Subscription Refunds

Cancelling VLS-PRO stops future renewal charges but does not refund the current billing period, which you keep access to until it ends; see our Subscription & Billing Terms. If a payment fails, our system marks your subscription past due rather than issuing any refund or partial credit; there is currently no automated proration for mid-cycle cancellation. Outside of your withdrawal right in Section 1 and applicable consumer law, subscription fees already charged are non-refundable. Contact us if you believe you were charged in error.

3. Power Token Refunds

Power Tokens you have not spent can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if your account is in good standing, meaning it is not suspended, is not under an active fraud or chargeback review, and has not violated these Terms in a way connected to the tokens in question. Tokens already spent are not refundable. This 14-day window is how we currently implement the withdrawal right described in Section 1 for token purchases; if you spend a token within that window, you are treating the purchase as immediately performed for that portion, and it stops being eligible for withdrawal.

4. Marketplace Refunds

Read this section before assuming marketplace refunds work like a normal store. Marketplace checkout is currently simulated: no real charge is taken when you "buy" a listing (see our Marketplace Terms of Use). The cancellation flow will still show your order approved for a full refund, including for a simple change of mind, and will tell you money is coming back "within 3 to 5 business days." Because no money was ever taken, there is no money to return, and that message is currently inaccurate. We are fixing this by either wiring the marketplace to a real payment processor with real refund handling, or removing the misleading confirmation messaging until it is. Until one of those ships, do not rely on the marketplace's refund confirmation as evidence of an actual transaction or an actual refund.

Once real marketplace payments are live, this section will state the buyer-facing refund window and process, consistent with the withdrawal right in Section 1 and the seller obligations in our Seller Agreement.

5. Chargebacks & Fraud

Initiating a chargeback with your card issuer instead of contacting us first may result in your account being suspended while we investigate. We may reverse or freeze a Power Token balance connected to a confirmed fraudulent transaction, a stolen payment method, or abuse of the trial system described in our Subscription Terms, Section 5.
