Billing Terms

1. What VLS-PRO Includes

VLS-PRO is a paid subscription add-on to the free VLStudio Desktop application. It unlocks the AI editing assistant, AI Visuals, and Auto-edit features, all of which are gated server-side and become unavailable the moment your subscription is not active. VLS-PRO does not currently include priority support, additional storage, or any web-portal feature beyond what a free account already has; if that changes, we will update this section.

2. Price & Billing Cycle

VLS-PRO costs EUR 10 per month, charged to the payment method on file through Stripe. The subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel; there is no fixed end date. Prices are shown in EUR; if you are charged in a different currency due to your card issuer's conversion, that conversion is set by your card issuer, not VLStudio.

3. Free Trial

New eligible subscribers get a 7-day free trial. A valid payment card is required to start the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged EUR 10 and the paid subscription begins automatically; you will not see a separate "you have not been charged yet" message once that conversion happens. The exact date your trial ends and your first charge would occur is shown in the app and in your Stripe billing portal before you start the trial. Trial eligibility is also subject to the abuse-prevention rules in Section 5.

4. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from the desktop app's billing panel, which opens the Stripe Billing Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep VLS-PRO access until then, and you are not charged again after that period ends. Cancelling does not refund the current period already paid for; see our Refund, Cancellation & Withdrawal Policy for the limited circumstances where a refund applies, including your EU/UK right of withdrawal on the trial itself.

5. Trial & Payment Abuse Prevention

To keep the free trial available to genuine new users, we use the fraud-prevention processing described in our Privacy Policy, Section 7: a fingerprint of the card used, and a hashed version of the signup IP address, capped at three trials per network per 30 days. If our systems detect a card already tied to a previous trial, a new trial is cancelled automatically; you can ask us to have a person review that decision.

6. AI Availability

The AI features depend on third-party AI providers (Google Gemini and Groq) and our own backend. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, response accuracy, or fitness of AI output for any particular purpose; see our AI Features Terms and No-Reliance Disclaimer. An outage of a third-party AI provider does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of your subscription fee, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights.

7. Taxes

Prices shown do not currently include a separately configured VAT line. We are setting up proper EU VAT (One-Stop-Shop) treatment and, until that is complete, VAT status is [[TAX_CONFIGURATION]]; this section will be updated once tax collection is live, and our Tax & Invoicing Terms carries the detail as it firms up. The seller of record for VLS-PRO is Vladyslav Zhminko, trading as VLStudio.

8. Governing Law & Contact
