// This is the single, consolidated list of things you may not do anywhere on VLStudio. Our AI Features Terms and our Community Guidelines both incorporate this policy by reference instead of restating their own separate rules, so this page is the canonical source. If those documents describe a narrower or additional rule specific to AI features or community conduct, that rule sits on top of, not instead of, what is written here.

1. Scope and How This Policy Is Used

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to everything you do on VLStudio Desktop, VLStudio Web at vlstudio.live, and any related services (together, the "Service"), operated by Vladyslav Zhminko, trading as VLStudio ("VLStudio", "we", "us", "our"), Carrer de Valencia 191, 6.1, 08011, Barcelona, Spain.

This is the one place these rules live. Our Terms of Service, AI Features Terms, and Community Guidelines all point back to this document rather than each restating its own version of the prohibited-use list, so that the rule is never inconsistent depending on which page you read. Where another document adds a rule specific to its own context (for example, a Community Guidelines rule about how a "private" group is currently handled), that additional rule applies on top of this one, not in place of it.

This policy applies to content and conduct across the whole Service: community posts and comments, marketplace listings and reviews, job postings and applications, direct messages and profile information, uploaded media, and prompts or files submitted to any AI feature.

2. Unlawful Content

You may not post, upload, list, transmit, or generate content, or engage in conduct, that is unlawful under the law applicable to you or to VLStudio. This includes content that promotes or facilitates a criminal act, content that violates export-control or sanctions law, and content whose creation, possession, or distribution is itself a criminal offense regardless of your intent in posting it.

3. Infringing Content

You may not post, upload, or list content that infringes another party's copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property or proprietary right. This includes footage, audio, images, fonts, code, or marketplace assets you do not have the rights to use, and content that misuses a trademark to imply an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist. Our Copyright & DMCA Policy sets out how a rights holder reports infringing content and how a takedown is handled.

4. Malware and Harmful Code

You may not upload, distribute, or link to viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, spyware, or any other malicious code; content designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to a device, account, or system; or files disguised to misrepresent their actual content or function.

5. Harassment, Threats, and Discriminatory Content

You may not harass, bully, threaten, stalk, or intimidate another user or any other person. You may not post content that promotes violence or hatred against, or discriminates against, a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or veteran status. This applies to community posts and comments, marketplace reviews, job postings and applicant communications, and direct messages.

6. Spam and Unsolicited Commercial Content

You may not post repetitive, unsolicited, or irrelevant commercial content; use the Service to send bulk unsolicited messages; artificially inflate engagement, upvotes, reviews, XP, token balances, or job applications; or use automated tools to post, message, or interact with the Service outside of features we provide for that purpose.

7. Impersonation

You may not impersonate VLStudio, VLStudio staff, another user, or any other person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization. You may not use a "moderator" or admin label, badge, or role you have not been given, or claim moderator authority you do not actually hold.

8. Child Sexual Abuse Material: Zero Tolerance

VLStudio has zero tolerance for content that sexually exploits or endangers minors, including any sexually explicit content involving, or purporting to involve, a minor, and including AI-generated or altered material that depicts a minor in a sexual manner. This applies without exception, anywhere on the Service. Any account responsible for this is terminated immediately and the matter is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement as required by applicable law. There is no warning step for this category: it goes straight to removal and termination.

9. Fraud and Deceptive Conduct

You may not use the Service to defraud or deceive another person, including fake marketplace listings, misrepresenting what a product, service, or job opportunity actually is, fake or incentivized reviews, phishing, or payment fraud. You may not misuse a promotional code, coupon, or the token or rewards economy to obtain value you are not entitled to.

10. Circumventing Platform Security or Rate Limits

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or to any non-public part of the Service; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written permission; bypass, disable, or circumvent rate limits, access controls, or other security measures; or continue to access or write to the Service through direct API calls, an alternate account, or any other means once your account has been suspended or your access has been restricted.

11. Misuse of AI Features

You may not use an AI feature, including AI chat, AI Visuals, AI-assisted captioning, or the AI video-generation pipeline, to generate, request, or attempt to produce content that would itself violate this policy if you had posted it directly, including unlawful, infringing, sexually exploitative-of-minors, malicious, or harassing content. You are responsible for prompts and files you submit to an AI feature and for what you do with its output. Additional AI-specific consent and data-flow disclosures are in our AI Features Terms.

12. Where This Policy Applies

This policy applies to community posts, comments, and direct messages; marketplace listings, product descriptions, and reviews; job postings and applications; profile content; and any file, prompt, or media submitted to an AI feature. It applies whether the content is posted publicly, in a group marked "private", or sent privately between users.

13. Reporting a Violation

If you see content or conduct that may violate this policy, report it using the in-product report control where one is available for that content type. As of this policy's effective date, a report control exists for community posts; a report control for marketplace listings and job postings is a known gap we are working to close, and until it ships you can report those directly using the contact details below.

14. Enforcement

Violating this policy can result in content removal, a warning, a temporary restriction, or account suspension or termination, at VLStudio's discretion and depending on severity and whether it is a repeat violation. Section 8 (child sexual abuse material) is enforced immediately without a warning step. Our Community Guidelines explain in plain language what a warning, a content-removal action, and a suspension mean in practice today, including where enforcement is not yet fully automated end to end.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect is acceptance of the updated policy.
